I can cook just about anything except a turkey. It’s gotten so bad that I decided to avoid the holiday entirely for the past few years by either buying a precooked turkey or going out to dinner. I have tried brining, fancy rubs, special pans. It never fails they either were under cooked or tried out turkey jerky. I was starting to think maybe it wasn’t my cooking abilities but that I just didn’t like turkey. This year we decided to stay in and I gave this turkey thing another try. Low and behold I cooked the perfect turkey.
I think I will do a layout about this lovely beauty and include the recipe. In honor of the holiday here is a card I did recently for Jillibean Soup.
Supplies Used: Jillibean Soup Patterned Paper, Ribbon, Journaling Sprout, Button, Twine, kraft card and stamp. Other supplies include Bazzill cardstock, Punches from Stampin' Up and Fiskars.
