Hello crafters last Friday the latest issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today was released. I hope you have had a chance to take a look if you haven't get yourself on over to the Scrapbook & Cards Today website and download your free copy today. I thought it would be great to show you my version of the spring cover. My layout uses some new Webster's Pages. I love the light and airy feeling in the photo so I tried to recreate the look in my layout.
(Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock, Patterned Paper/Stickers Webster's Pages, Pink Floral accents KI Memories, Alphas American Crafts Thickers, Hemp Twine, Circle Punches EK Success, Wood Sprinkles Jillibean Soup, Misc Vellum, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and font Veteran Typewriter)
I don't often do 8.5x11 layouts so this was a challenge for me. There is a lot jam packed into this smaller package. I really love the idea of using the twine to create movement on this layout. It ties the title to the photo with design. I also used the circle elements to create a visual triange around the photo.
